Language and exam tips for IELTS
IELTS listening requires the candidate to write the answers in the specified word- count in each section. Students need to write the words as it would correctly fall in the sentence keeping in mind
the grammatical rules. Small words like articles and prepositions are also important if it is meant in the answer.
These guidelines apply in the reading writing or speaking section. Especially in the speaking section your fluency and the ability to substantiate the points referred to earlier; counts:
like the way you add up detail in your conversation.

Fast food bar chart
The bar chart compares the data on how often the residents of USA opted to eat at fast food restaurants, in the three different years 2003, 2006 and 2013, shown across six categories giving the percentage of
people who chose diverse patterns of consumption.
In summary, the choice of taking fast food has only increased, among the segment that relishes this once or twice a month, while it remained stable during 2006 and 2013, for those who consume a
few times a year. The percentage of Americans who eat junk food on the basis of once a week, fell slightly by 2013. Even partaking of this type of food several times a week, saw a gentle drop in 2013.
Needless to say, everyday eaters were a quite a low fraction as low as about 3 percent in 2006 and 2013 respectively.
With the everyday eaters being the lowest, in a slightly high figure of 4 % when it started off in 2003, we observe that once a week and once or twice a month have been the prominent custom of eating
from 2003 till 2013. Even though once a week practice hit the highest of about 34% in 2006, going out for a fast food meal once in a week, dipped to around 27% in 2013. A 34% of population opting to
eat fast food once or twice a month is another high point in the graph in the year 2013 which marks as an upward trend, because it was only a little less, at 30% in 2003. Taking of fast food several times
a week, rose to a high of 20% only in 2006, soon rounded off to a decline of 16% by 2013.
Exceptionally, people who never ate was a low figure of 5% in 2003, even though this tendency to give up convenience food altogether, relieved by around 2% as years progressed from 2003 to 2013.
All in all, it can be considered that leaving out a minority of everyday- eaters and the never- eater categories, other sections of people with whom fast food consumption was found more, were the
several–times- a -week eaters and the once- in -a -month eaters, finally, even though the frequency is quite low, once or twice a month eaters were also a significant lot from 2003 to 2013.
